(Washington Area Mid East Assoc.) - is a professional organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Middle Eastern dance, music and culture. Membership is open to all persons who share these interests. WAMEDA is a not-for-profit organization.
(San Diego Area Middle Eastern Dance Association) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion, research, and discussion of Middle Eastern dance and music.
(Middle Eastern Culture & Dance Association) - proposes to develop unity to provide educational sources for the community of Middle Eastern Dance through close communication, sponsorship of workshops, dance parties and other events that ensure continuity of these arts.
(North Texas Middle Eastern Dance Association) - was organized in late 2001 by a group of variously affiliated dancers in the North Texas area. The NTMEDA is not a dance studio or performing troupe; rather, it is a way for dancers from all studios and all troupes to join together for the betterment of the dance form. The NTMEDA is governed and managed by a twelve-member Board of Directors.
(Public Urban Ritual Experiment) - PURE is collective of dancers and drummers who take music and dance out into the streets for the purposes of healing and peace.
(Mid-Eastern Dance Society of Kentuckiana) - The Mid-Eastern Dance Society of Kentuckiana is composed of enthusiasts and professional teachers and dancers who share an interest in Middle Eastern dance, Persian dance, belly dance, tribal dance, Middle-eastern cuisine, oriental music, and costuming. Membership benefits include a discount on our annual workshop and concert and performance and learning opportunities throughout the year.
